SAMBA, May 11: Ramgarh police has started investigation in alleged murder case of a migrant laborer who has been reportedly murdered in Bari Brahmana area on the basis of a rivalry on May 8 and later his body was buried at Trindian cremation ground falling under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station.
According to sources the police has picked up some people for questioning and started investigation.
Sources said a team of senior police and civil officers including SSP Samba, Anil Magotra, SDM Vijaypur, SDPO Vijaypur besides SHO Ramgarh Bhupinder Singh will visit cremation ground and dig the place where the body reportedly has been buried. Sources said the panic has gripped the area after the spread of news.
When contacted SHO Vijaypur said that it is a rumor yet and facts will only come to light after the thorough investigation and digging of the grave at Trindian cremation ground.
