JAMMU, May 13: Col Chopra Cricket Academy defeated Siddhant Cricket Academy in an easy contest of the ongoing Junior Pitch T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Sehwag Cricket Academy, here.
Earlier, Col Chopra Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to bat first and scored a decent total of 189 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Aditya Abrol top scored with 52 runs, while Shavac Makin scored 51 runs and Udhay Partap Singh contributed unbeaten 32 runs.
From Siddhant Cricket Academy, Chitwan Swaraj took 3 wickets, while Sahil and Suryansh Manhas shared one wicket each.
In reply, Siddhant Cricket Academy bundled out for 107 runs and lost the match by 82 runs. Achintay Khajuria was the top scorer with 30 runs, while Akshat Gupta contributed 17 runs to the total.
From Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy, Teg Vansh took 3 wickets, while Shavac Makin and Udhay Partap shared 2 wickets each. Shavac Makin was declared as the man of the match for his all-round performance.
