KATHUA, May 13: Panic gripped at village Narayanpur Nagrota in Budhi area of Kathua district when an old live bomb covered with rust was found in the village field.
The bomb was found in rusty condition when children of village were playing near the field. They informed the villagers and villagers kept the bomb at safer place. Ex Sarpanch of Nagrota Kamal Kishore said that the Rajbagh police was informed about the bomb.

He said many years ago Army had set up a camp in these fields and this bomb might have been left by them. But it created panic among the villagers and they became worried.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted it to safer place to defuse it.
