JD(S) discusses demands

JAMMU, Dec 15: Janata Dal (Secular) in a meeting expressed concern over the supply of sub-standard atta to the depots by the State Government.
The meeting presided over Dhanraj Bargotra, State JD-S president, also criticized the recent increase of transport fares in J&K and added that it will affect the common man at the time when there is already hue and cry against the price rise of all essential consumable commodities.
He also asked the Government to introduce Government busses in the city as well as in rural areas at the cheaper rates. He also demanded increase of quota of gas cylinder from six to twelve at subsidized rates.
