Brilliant Jatin guides KCCC to convincing victory

JAMMU, May 23: Jatin Wadhawan’s brilliant 98 runs guided Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) to convincing victory by 33 runs over Bali Cricket Academy in JKCA Premier Cricket Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at Science College Hostel Ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, KCCC scored 200 runs in the allotted 30 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Jatin scored magnificent 98 runs off 69 balls, studded with 8 fours and 3 sixes, while Sahil Lotra and Suryansh Raina contributed 29 and 19 runs to the toal respectively. From Bali Cricket Club, Nitin and Sonu took 2 wickets each while Bali and Haider claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Bali Cricket Club managed to score 167 runs to lose the match by 33 runs. Bali (63), Dimple (26) and Vishu (22) were the main scorers. From KCCC, Sawan took 4 important wickets, while Ankush Bandral, Kunal and Sahil Lotra shared 2 wickets each. Jatin was declared as the man of the match for his superb batting performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Saleem-ur-Rehman and Rahul Kumar.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Sparton Cricket Club will take on United Cricket Club Bishnah at 9.30 am.
