RAJOURI, May 29: A villager was electrocuted when he was working on an electric transformer at village Targain in Budhal this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Shakeel, son of Munshi Khan, resident of Targain. The villagers told police that mishap took place when Shakeel was fixing fuse at the transformer. There was little wind storm in the area and power supply was suspended. Shakeel tried to fix the fuse but was trapped in the live wires and received severe electric shocks. He was rushed to Budhal hospital where he was declared as dead.
