RBI workers, employees to go on strike on Jan 1

JAMMU, Dec 17 : Demanding immediate withdrawal of the management decision to close down exchange counters, the local unit of RBI Workers Union and Reserve Bank Employees Association  has announced to go on strike on January 1, 2013.
A notice in this regard was also served to the management.
Meanwhile, a token protest during lunch hour was held by the employees at the RBI building Jammu. The protest was organized under the banner of Jammu Chapter of United Forum of Reserve Bank Officers and Employees and also addressed by MLA M Y Tarigami.
