JAMMU, June 2: Young Warriors and Shaheen Football Club registered 2-0 victories over their rivals in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup Football League Tournament 2018, being organized by the District Football Association (DFA) Jammu, under the aegis Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
In the first match played today, Young Warriors defeated Alexandra Football Club by two goals to nil (2-0). The goal scorers for the winners were Tanshu and Danish in 25th and 31st minutes of the match respectively.
In another match, Shaheen FC defeated Young Nepolean by two goals to nil (2-0). Deepanshu scored the first goal in 10th minute, while Chintan netted the 2nd goal in 19th minute.
The matches were officiated by Moon Stephen, Rahul Ghai, Honey Mehra, Sanju Jangral and Rocky Sharma.
