JAMMU, June 3: Chennai-based ETA General, a joint venture with Fujitsu General Limited, Japan, has launched a range of O-General premium air-conditioners in the Indian market.
Titled ‘Tropical innovation series’ of split ACs, they offer new features that make them efficient and highly energy conserving, said Ejazuddin, a top executive of the company. A set of window ACs, designed for tropical conditions, were also launched at ETA General exclusive gallery under the name “Shivanghi Electronics”, 34- A South Block Bahu Plaza, Jammu. MLA Priya Sethi and MLC Charanjeet Singh Khalsa graced the occasion as guest of honour during the inauguration.
The company ETA General commands a market share of 5 per cent in the domestic market and is a dominant player in the premium segment. Its split ACs come in the range of 1.5 to 3 tonne. In the window AC segment, its products come with a capacity of 0.75 to 2 tonne.
