JAMMU, June 13: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) today urged upon the State Government for formulation of youth policy for the youth of the State and to release the earned wages of the daily wagers, ReT teachers and Anganwari workers as well as helpers before the festival of Eid.
In a statement issued here, Nakul Sharma, executive member of AJKYF, said that there is complete unrest among the educated unemployed youth of the State, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has utterly failed to fulfill his promises to the youth for providing one crore employment opportunity every year in past four years.
He said that 30,000 casual workers and daily wagers in the State are waiting for release of their wages for last 44 months alone in PHE Department, ReT teachers are also without salary for many months while Anganwari workers are on strike for last about four months demanding enhancement of honorarium. “Are these may be justified as Acche Din?”, he questioned and appealed the Government for introspection.
