2 burglary cases worked out, 3 held

KATHUA, Dec 19:  With the arrest of three persons, the police managed to solve two burglary cases at Grameen Bank Parnalla and a Karyana shop at Dewal in Billawar today.
A police spokesman said that a police team led by SHO Billawar, Bhushan Manhas, under the supervision of  SDPO Basohli, Mohd Rafiq Manhas    managed to work out these two theft cases. All the three accused were arrested. They have been identified as  Mohd Anjum, son of Mushtaq Ahmed of Pallan in Billawar,  Liaqat Ali alias Salim, son of Saraj Din of Parnala and Mohd Rafiq, son of Farman Ali, resident of Manger in Billawar.
Three computer systems stolen by this gang from Grameen Bank Parnalla  and goods from Karyana shop worth Rs 2 lakh have been recovered from them. They had broken the Grameen Bank branch on the intervening night of November 28-29 and Karyana shop at Dewal  on the intervening night of December 1-2, 2012. A car used during offence has also been seized by police. One of the accused arrested was a loanee of the Grameen Bank.
