JAMMU, June 22: A book on Babu Milkhi Ram was released today in a function held under the aegis of Dr Baba Sahib BR Ambedkar Young Blood Welfare Society Ranjitpur.
Authored by TR Azad, the book titled ‘Babu Milkhi Ram’ was released by the chief guest, Sunita Bangotra along with RL Bangotra, retired District Officer Agriculture Department to mark the birthday celebration of Milkhi Ram.
Earlier, portrait of Babu Milkhi Ram was profusely garlanded and floral tributes were paid to him by the audience including Kuldeep Kumar Sarangal, son of Babu Milkhi Ram.
While speaking on the occasion, Sunita Bangotra said it is a rare book which threw light on the struggle of Milkhi Ram. She said the book provides direction to further strengthen the Hindu society by following the path shown by Babu Milkhi Ram and his mentors.
