Youth dies, 2 others serious as bikes collide

RAJOURI, June 27: A youth was killed while two others were seriously injured when two motor-cycles collided near DC office  in Rajouri town this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that incident took place at around 2.30 pm today. Both the bikes (JK-11/9404 and JK13A/1830)  were over speeding  and collided with force. The riders were thrown away with the impact of strong collision. One of them sustained serious head injuries.
All the three injured were rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri, where   the doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred them to GMC Hospital, Jammu. One of the accident victims, Harcharan Singh (24), son of Nanak Singh, resident of Dhanidhar,  succumbed to injuries near Bhamla. His body was brought back to Rajouri.
The two others struggling for life in GMC Hospital are identified as- Mohd Irfan (26), son of Mohd Farooq and Mohd Nassir (23), son of Mohd Azam, residents of Dodaz in Darhal. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
