PRF for abolishing interviews for non gazetted posts

JAMMU, July 1: Chairman People’s Revolutionary Forum (PRF), Mir Ghulam Rasool has asked the State Government to abolish the interviews for all the non gazetted posts as has been done by Central Government.
Addressing a meeting of his party workers at Ganderbal in Kashmir valley today, Mir said that abolishing interview system will end corruption and deserving candidates will get justice. He said when the interview system was abolished by Union Government and the same was implemented by various State governments why the J&K is lagging behind.
Mir made an appeal to Governor, N N Vohra in this regard and urged him to implement the decision as this will be great step on the part of Mr Vohra to end corruption in the State and it will also be termed a historical decision of the Governor by the coming generations.
Mir, while referring to the announcement of various class fourth posts in the Judiciary under State Cadre, said that the Ganderbal district has been given a raw deal in this regard. He also demanded immediate start of wok on the New Ganderbal Power Project.
