SRINAGAR: An Alert CRPF jawan foiled a rifle snatching bid by unidentified people in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, official sources said.
Three unidentified people attacked a CRPF jawan with chili powder and tried to snatch his service rifle at Humhama in Budgam. However, the jawan fought back and raised an alarm, following which the attackers escaped.
Security forces were rushed and search operation was launched to nab the attackers. (AGENCIES)
