JTFRP signs 4 major consultancy agreements costing Rs.67.82 cr

JAMMU, July 3: For the project JTFRP (Jhelum & Tawi Flood Recovery Project), financed by World Bank, the PMU signed four major consultancy agreements.  With the signing of these agreements, the consultancies will be mobilized within next fortnight.
The agreements signed include; With  “EPTISA (SPAIN)” for consultancy services to conduct feasibility studies and to prepare detailed project report for comprehensive flood mitigation in Jhelum River Basin at the cost of Rs 17.19 crores, (ii) With “Aqualogus-Oiltech (JV)(Portugal)” for consultancy services to conduct feasibility studies and to prepare detailed project report for comprehensive Flood Mitigation in Tawi River Basin  at the cost of Rs 17.11 crores, With “LEA Associates”(Canada) for Technical Assistance and quality assured consultants at the cost of Rs 12.90 crores and  With  “RMSI Ltd.”  for consultancy services for carrying out multi hazard Risk Assessment for J&K, at the cost of Rs 12.90 crores.
Agreements were signed by concerned Directors with representatives of firms in presence of CEO JTFRP,  Vinod Sharma. Others present on the occasion, included  Iftikar Ahmad Hakeem, Director (P&C),  Khalid Iqbal Malik, Director (Tech) and  Tasawuf Amin, CAO.
