JAMMU, July 5: The decomposed dead body of a man was recovered today from River Tawi in Phlain Mandaal area of city outskirts.
“The dead body of a man identified as Mohan Lal (42) son of Chuni Lal, resident of New Plot (Jammu) was spotted this morning by some locals in River Tawi in Phlain Mandaal area”, a police official said.
He said a police team immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
“In this connection, inquest proceedings have been initiated at concerned police station”, he added.
