Educational institutions celebrate Christmas with fanfare

Kids attired as Santa Clause on eve of Christmas.

JAMMU, Dec 21: Various educational institutions celebrated Christmas with great fanfare and zeal.
Air Force School Jammu celebrated Christmas Day at Nursery wing with enthusiasm and gaiety today. A Christmas tree was decorated with glittering buntings, bells, stars, gifts and sweets were the centre of attraction for all the children. Youngsters were attired as Santa Clause and fairies. The toddlers presented cultural items based on the theme of Christmas and the environment was filled with the melodious Christmas Carols. The school choir presented Christmas Carols and ‘Jingle Bells’ in their melodious voice which left the audience spellbound. Vikesh Sandhal, Principal, Air Force School, Jammu and Flight Lieutenant Karishma Sethi, OI/C Air Force School, were also present.
Ranjit Memorial High School, Barnai celebrated Christmas with great pomp and show. Christmas carols and fancy dress competition were the main attraction of the function. Krishna Jamwal, Chief Executive of the school and Principal Nana Koul were also present.
Mother’s Pride and Joy Pre-School celebrated Christmas with great fanfare and enthusiasm. On the occasion, students sang Christmas carols and Christmas songs. The main feature was that Santa Claus distributing gifts and candies to children. Kids were thrilled to cut the Christmas cake besides getting clicked with Santa.
Toddlers of Tiny Tots High School, Residency Road, celebrated Christmas with great fanfare. The students along with the teachers sang the Christmas carols and also presented dance. They also cut the Christmas cake and the students in the dress of Santa Claus distributed sweets among the other students and staff members.
JK Brain Works Pre-School celebrated Christmas with splendid pomp and fun. Little ones presented a short assembly with inimitable grandeur. The programme commenced with a carol sung by the students, followed by birth of  “Jesus Christ”. Managing Director Rajni Gupta was also present.
