KARGIL, July 6: BJP Unit Kargil today organised a general body meeting at TFC Biamathang with the aim to boost the party cadre across the district before the upcoming Council elections later this year.
The meeting was attended by Vikram Randhawa Member of Legislative Council as party observer.
Randhawa speaking on the occasion saluted the brave spirit of the Kargil people and said, “I salute the people of Kargil for standing shoulder to shoulder with our jawans.” Lauding the Modi Government, he said that the Government was working on the mantra of good governance which can be easily seen and felt around us.
“Our Government is committed for the development of all the three regions which could be seen in PM’s recent visit for the inauguration of Zojila tunnel in Ladakh region”, Randhawa added.
“It is possible only in BJP, that anyone from normal background can become the PM, CM, MLA or Minister. Hard work is your key to success in the party” he said.
Mohd Ali Majaz president BJP Unit Kargil welcomed the guests and said that all the leaders who are holding the key positions in organisation have had a very hard political career in past, their work should be emulated in order to strengthen the foothold of the party in the district.
Stressing the importance of the youth he said,” youth are the main power and we have a lot of expectations from the youth for holding the National Flag high.” He assured that there will be focused attention on the youth so that they could know the nitty grities of achieving lofty goals in the sphere of politics and to make a positive difference to their society.
The party cadre were given a detailed briefing of the party’s pro-development agenda, the ideology of working for the weaker section rising above caste, region and religion based politics.
They were also briefed about the internal democracy of the party.
Mohd Qasim, senior BJP member, Sayed Murtaza Rizvi, vice president, Akhon Niyaz secretary, Bilal Ahmad Drass, president, Mohd Hussain BJYM presidents, Achay Lila Banoo Mahilaya Morcha president, Constituency presidents and other senior workers participated.
