Delhi Wrestler Kapil lifts 20th Didi Bhangal Dangal Title

KATRA, July 7: Wrestler Kapil of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi lifts 20th Annual Didi Bhangal Dangal Title 2018 by defeating Wrestler Vikas of Haryana in the main first malli bout that lasted for 8 minutes at village Didi Nagani, near here.
Dangal was organized by Didi Bhangal Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chairman Dangal Committee Trilok Chand and former Sarpanch and President Krishan Singh (Pappu).
Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed a cash prize of Rs 1,50,000 among the Wrestlers.
Chairman Nav Durga Trust Bhangal Trilock Chand, former Sarpanch Krishan Singh (Pappu), ZEO Reasi Kaka Ram, President Reasi District Bhagat Biradari Surinder Kumar and Vice President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) were the guests of honour.
Winner of 1st malli main bout Wrestler Kapil was awarded with Rs 12,000 by chief guest Shiv Kumar Sharma, Trilock Chand and Sarpanch Krishan Singh while runner-up Wrestler Vikas got Rs 10,000 by ZEO Kaka Ram, Numberdar Ram Singh and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri).
40 bouts were played in the day-long dangal.
Nav Durga Trust Bhangal through his chairman Master Trilock Chand contributed Rs 21,000 as financial assistance to the organizer and Numberdar Ram Singh contributed Rs 5,100.
