Sat kick starts development of playground

JAMMU, July 8: Former Minister and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) kick started the works for converting land into play ground in Ward No 32 in Gole Gujral area behind the Yoga Ashram. He was accompanied by scores of people, concerned officials and the leaders of the party. Land measuring 15Kanals will be converted into play ground for the youth and budding players all around.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that this was a long pending demand of the public of the area and the land was grabbed by some musclemen which had led to lot of public resentment in the area.
He said as the issue was brought into his notice and he issued immediate directives to concerned authorities and the land was restored and now it has been converted into a  play ground.
Converting this land into play ground will be beneficial to the youth and budding players all around the area. Sharma urged all to come together and work in harmony leaving aside opposition. He assured that the works will be taken up soon and a proper infrastructure will be provided to the masses. Sharma also toured the adjoining area of Ward No. 32 to take stock of development works.
Sharma stressed that the youth should take up sports activities and pursue them as a career. He said that our State has a huge potential in sports and for this proper infrastructure like playgrounds and stadiums are must. Many more projects like this will come in future, he added.
Mandal president Jeet Angral, Sat Pal Karlupia, Advocate Rajesh Gupta, Jatin Sethi, Deepak Gupta, Rahul Mehra, Naresh Sharma, Ravi Kant Sharma, Vijay Saini, Rajesh Saini, Kala Saini and several others were present on the occasion.
