Sharma demands policy for State youth

KALAKOTE, July 15: Unrest among youth in Jammu and Kashmir is because of corrupt and tainted people involved in public life which has created a gap between the Government and the youth causing trust deficit.
This was stated by Ashok Sharma, former Legislator while addressing the youth in a function of membership drive of Indian National Youth Congress here today.
“There is a need for cleansing the political and bureaucratic setup to ensure trust among the youth and people of our State,” Sharma further said.
“Ideological u-turn of BJP-PDP alliance partners has also befooled the people of the State which is unfortunate,” he said appealing the youth to unite on one platform to mitigate their sufferings and bring peace by enrolling themselves as members of Congress.
He urged the Governor, N.N Vohra to direct the authorities for formulation of a policy for the youth of our State.
