JKFFA remembers Chandra Shekhar Azad

JAMMU, July 23: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) here on Monday paid rich tributes to the revolutionary freedom fighter, Chandra Shekhar Azad on his 112th birth anniversary.
In a function organised by JKFFA where its President Ved Gandotra presided over, floral tributes were paid to Azad.
Working President, Jammu Province People’s Forum (JPPF), M.S Katoch was Chief Guest on this occasion.

After paying tribute to the great martyr, Gandotra said that Chander Shekhar Azad fought against and jerked the base of British rule in India with his dedication and sacrifice.
He stressed on the need to make the younger generation aware of the contributions of freedom fighters.
“Azad was a great and powerful revolutionary of India who wanted free India from the clutches of British rule,” Gandotra maintained.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Rajiv Mahajan (State President Shri Ram Sena), J.J Singh, S. Sukminder Singh Saini, Karnail Chand, Kamal Sharma, Gaurav and others.
