JKATA discusses issues with Advisor

JAMMU, July 23: A delegation of AEAs led by Dr Surinder Radotra, President Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) in coordination with Directorate of Agriculture met Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and apprised him about the two burning issues of AEAs.
While speaking, Dr Radotra demanded inclusion of 7, 8 and 9 years of the service of Rehbar-E-Zirat (stipenery) period in regular service of all 2642 AEAs on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers from April 1 2007 and merger of JAEOS and AEAs by removing basic bottle neck.
He apprised the Advisor that once Agriculture Graduates were at par with Veterinary Graduates and now highly qualified Agriculture Graduates have been declared ICAR viz MSc and PhD are working in the pay scale of field assistants.
Advisor gave a patient hearing and assured to examine their demands and redress the concerns at the earliest.
On occasion were Amit Gupta, Prakash Vir Singh, Vinod Sharma, Sanjeev and many others were present.
