JAMMU, July 25: Under the guidance of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu, a distribution cum fitment camp was organized at Government HSS (B) Akhnoor under Samgra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Experts from ALIMCO Mohali and Kanpur also collaborated and the assistive devices like Tricycle, Wheel Chair, MSIED Kits, Hearing Aids, Rolators, Surgical Shoes, Calipers and Crutches were distributed to orthopedically impaired, intellectually impaired, hearing impaired and children suffering from learning impairment and Cerelral Palsy according to their needs.
It is pertinent to mention here that these children were assessed during an assessment camp by a team of experts and doctors in January 2018.
In the camp Deputy CEO, Jammu, Devinder Singh Manhas was the Chief Guest.
ZEO Akhnoor, ZEO Chowki Choura and Principal, Girls Higher Secondary School Akhnoor were also present in the camp.
