PNB offers OTS scheme to defaulters

JAMMU, July 26: Punjab National Bank (PNB), Circle Office Jammu, has asked its defaulting borrowers in the State to take advantage of One-Time-Settlement (OTS) Scheme to clear their outstanding.
An OTS Camp was organised by PNB today at IIPA,  Jammu which was headed by Dinesh Saxena, Zonal Manager, Shimla Zone.  Many interested and eligible stressed borrowers of the Bank were present in the camp and consented to take benefit of one time settlement scheme of the Bank. In the camp, 425 cases were resolved.
Speaking on the occasion, S.K Rana, Circle Head Jammu impressed upon the participants that bank’s priority was to address issues pertaining to non-performing assets and OTS is one of the easiest means in this regard.
Dinesh Saxena while concluding the camp reiterated that PNB shall be conducting such camps frequently in the future and advised that all eligible defaulting borrowers should take advantage of the scheme.
The Zonal Manager also declared that the target fixed for recovery during the quarter ended June-18 amounting to Rs. 8000 Crore was achieved comfortably and the Bank has fixed a budget of recovering Rs 12,000 Crore during the Current Quarter ending Sept-2018.
