JAMMU, July 26: Deepali Sharma-artist, poet, writer, fashion designer and performer from Jammu has written a book titled ‘Eclipsed Suns and Their Echoes’.
The fictional book talks about one’s self discovery through art, poetry and surrealism. It talks boldly about sensitive topics like sexual assault and gender stereotyping.
The book is based on some traces of life events of the writer and she has tried to bring out many facets of poetry, art and literature.
The book is a strong depiction of the after effects of in bred patriarchy and gender stereotypes.
