Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, July 31: A simple but impressive function was organized at Civil Secretariat Srinagar to bid farewell to Hemant Kumar Sharma, Commissioner/Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department on his attaining superannuation.
Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam, Administrative Secretaries and senior officers participated in the function. Chief Secretary lauded the contribution of the officer over his three and a half decade long service rendered in different capacities with dedication and zeal. He wished the retiring officer success in all his future endeavours.
Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Baljit Singh Raina, Assistant Director, Law Enforcement, Jammu who retired today after rendering 34 years of service to the Department.
Director Agriculture Jammu, HK Razdan, while speaking on the occasion, recalled the devoted and dedicated services rendered by the retiring officer and wished him success and good health in the years to come in his post retirement life.
Warm wishes were also extended to retiring officers and staff of the department from other districts namely Mahesh Kumar (JAEO Basohli), Rajinder Kumar (JAEO Akhnoor), Santokh Singh (Field Assistant, RS Pura) and Des Raj (Helper, Chakrohi).
A function was also organized at Chief Agriculture Office Doda to accord warm and affectionate farewell to Yogi Raj, Subject Matter Specialist (DL) Doda, who retired today after rendering 34 years of service in the department.
In a simple but impressive function held at DC Office Complex Udhampur, District Administration, Udhampur today accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Chief Planning Officer, Udhampur, Ashok Khajuria, who retired today after rendering 39 years of Government service.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Arvind Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Krishan Lal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Subash Dogra, Deputy District Election Officer, Sapna Kotwal, Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan and other district/sectoral officers of different department were present on the occasion. All the officers wished the retiring official a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
A grand function was organized today by staff members of DIET Reasi to bid adieu to Romesh Chander Sharma, HoD, DIET Reasi, who retired today after rendering about 38 years of service to Education department. Mohd Ashraf Rather, Principal, DIET Reasi, in his speech said that the outgoing officer was an asset to the department and his retirement is a great and personnel loss to him.
Staff members of Divisional office, Jammu of J&K Cements Limited, organized a function to bid adieu to Parshotam Singh (Assistant Manager Finance/Incharge Sales), who retired today after rendering approximately 38 years of service. All the staff members present on the occasion wished the retiring official a happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
District Administration Ramban today accorded a warm send off to Head Assistant Lal Chand on attaining superannuation. An impressive farewell function was organized by Revenue Department which was attended by all cadres of revenue staff. Deputy Commissioner Showkat Aijaz lauded Lal Chand for rendering 36 years of dedicated service in the Department and wished him a prosperous and healthy post retirement life.
A warm send off was accorded to Dalip Kumar, Senior Assistant at the office of CEO Jammu, who retired today on attaining age of superannuation after rendering 28 years of service in the School Education Department. An impressive farewell function was organized wherein a number of teachers and colleagues of Dalip Kumar, besides senior officers of the Education Department extended their greetings to the retiring official and lauded his services.
