KARGIL, Aug 1: Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer LAHDC, Kargil, Vikas Kundal today convened a meeting to review the arrangements being made for the conduct of 4th General Elections to the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues including setting up of office of the Returning Officers, election control room, compliant and grievance cell, transport plan, material management, violation of Model Code of Conduct, media monitoring cell, strong room and counting centres.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned to work with utmost dedication and ensure all necessary arrangements for the hassle-free conduct of the elections well in time.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy District Election Officer Kargil and all Nodal Officers designated for the conduct of LAHDC elections and other concerned officers.
