NEW DELHI, Aug 4: Groundnut oil prices edged higher by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on mild demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers against restricted supplies from growing regions mainly helped groundnut oil prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil inched up by Rs 100 to Rs 9,200 per quintal.

Oilseeds: Mustard seed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut seed Rs 2,150-2,900, Vanaspati ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 800-1,000.
Edible oils: Groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) Rs 9,200, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,770-1,870, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 8,100, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,295-1,340, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,345-1,445, Sesame mill delivery Rs 10,000, Soybean Refined mill delivery (Indore) Rs 7,600, Soybean Degum (Kandla) Rs 7,200, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 5,500, Cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) Rs 7,600, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,700, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 6,750 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 3,100-3,150.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 9,600, Castor Rs 7,800-7,900, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450. (PTI)
