JAMMU, Aug 5: Gujjar and Bakerwal tribal communities under the banner of Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation here today demanded judicial inquiry into the incident wherein a nomad youth was killed and another injured in alleged firing by security forces at Kohli area of Gool tehsil in Ramban district.
In a handout the tribal community members stated that killing of Mohd Rafiq Gujjar-a cattle rarer and injury to Shakeel Ahmad both of Gool is condemnable and needs to be probed.
They demanded compensation for both the victim families.
The death of tribal youth was condoled by Dr. Javaid Rahi, Anwar Hussain, Mohd Iqbal, Shabir Poswal, Sadiq Chowdhary, Mohd Adress, Mohd Amin Kohli, Yousuf Chowdhary and others.
