Independence Day celebrated with patriotic fervour

JAMMU, Aug 13: The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated today in advance by various educational institutions and artistic groups of Jammu with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm.
In this connection, RM Public School organized different type of activities for Pre- Primary wing in which all the students took part with zest and zeal. Nestling students made flag with hand printing. Creche students made paper flower using tri-color paper and students of Starling did tearing and pasting in map. Finally, a Tri-colored cake was cut by Trustee of the School, Rita Mengi and distributed among all the students.
To celebrate Independence Day, a cultural programme was organized at International Delhi Public School, Jammu. The occasion was graced by Manisha Choudhary, chairman of the School. Preeti Sharma, DSP Excise and Taxation Officer Samba Jammu, Deepa Kotwal. Manisha Choudhary further addressed the children and made sure that moral values along with the education must be inculcated for the holistic development of the children.
The Day was celebrated in Activity Public Hr Sec School, Janipur Colony Jammu with great fervor and enthusiasm. All students of the school came in Tricolor to mark the occasion. Many cultural items and debates were presented by the students. Teachers also showcased their talents in the program. Managing Director, Manohar Gupta and Principal, Rishi Gupta also participated in the program.
MLZS, Tarore organised a Nukkad Natak ‘Mera Bachpan’ in connection with Independence Day to spread awareness against child abuse with special focus on perils of ‘Child Labour’ and other abuses. The Natak was showcased opposite Monika Super Market, Gandhi Nagar and Kunjwani Main Chowk. The children under the guidance of Principal, VK Singh and Coordinator, Gayika Kapoor showcased how child labour is spoiling the future of India.
On the occasion, Ek Sath Rang Manadal (ESRM) presented Vijay Malla’s new patriotic nukkad “Azadi Key Mayyeney” under its Monday Theatre Series at Ishwar Academy, Press Morh, Bahu Fort, Jammu. Through their performances, the actors tried to aware the masses about importance of Independence Day. Actors who acted were Raju Mad, Shelly, Shahid, Kavita, Rohit, Inder Singh Sambyal and Vijay Malla.
