JAMMU, Dec 25: Gritty opening batsman Shubam Khajuria smashed brilliant unbeaten 93 runs, while speedster Umar Nazir had a haul of 12 wickets to help Jammu and Kashmir trounce Haryana by 5 wickets and qualify for the knockout stage in the match of the ongoing Cooch Behar Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Lali in Haryana, today.
Chasing a modest total of 145 runs for outright victory, J&K rode on a fabulous knock of unbeaten 93 runs by Shubam Khajuria and reached the target in 49.5 overs.
According to reports reaching here Shubam was simply a delight to watch as his innings was an amalgam of pulls, cuts, drives and punches. Aquib Nazir also contributed valuable 26 runs to the total.
