JAMMU, Aug 22: New Era Environmental High School, Circular Road today organised a Poem Recitation competition of 9 different schools under the aegis of Youth Talent Search (A forum of schools), here.
36 students of 9 different schools participated in the programme.
SK Jain, President,Vichar Kranti Manch and Parmod Jain were the judges.
The students recited both in Hindi and English.
In Hindi poem recitation Manya Jamwal of BH MP school Barnai stood first where as Raiyyan of Lawrence Publc school Panjtirthi stood second and the third position was shared by Manvi of Alexander Memorial School and Udhayveer Sharma of JK Montessori school.
In English Poem Recitation Dikshita Thakur of JK Montessori school stool first whereas second position was shared by Rukaiyat and Mahira of Lawrence Public School and Minha Israr of Alexander Memorial School and the third position was clinched by Suniksha Gupta of SD Tarapuri school.
In the end, Prabha Jain, Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the students and the teachers.
