JAMMU, Aug 23: IECS Polytechnic Managing Director Renu Bangroo has impressed upon the students to participate whole heartedly in teaching learning process, taking keen interest in all the curricular, co-curricular and extra -curricular activities.
She also advised the students to take proactive part in various activities with utmost commitment and deep sense of dedication so as to become a well versed engineer with fully developed personality with great human values. She requested the parents and guardian to remain in touch with the institution so that proper attention could be paid towards general behavior of the students.
Other activities during the 3- day program included, a lecture on `Industry- Institute Interaction’ by Naveen Sharma, Director Jetking Pvt Ltd, a lecture by Priya Raina, Senior Trainer Amisoft Pvt Ltd and lectures on topics of technical and general educational interest by K.G. Gupta, Principal, Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration and Placement, Amit Sharma, Vice Principal, Sonika Kaul, Coordinator and various Heads of Departments.
Display your talent competition was also organized to search for the inherent and hidden talent in the student under the expert guidance and direction of Professor Anil Warikoo who is a renowned theatre artist. Amit Sharma spoke on the importance of human values and ethics.
K G Gupta delivered the valedictory, address and hoped that the students will utilize the coming three year time in attaining best possible skills and knowledge to become highly successful engineers with magnificent personality and decent human values.
Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman and Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions also addressed.
