JAMMU, Aug 24: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today accorded welcome to Justice Sindhu Sharma, who was recently elevated as Judge of the State High Court.
Justice D S Thakur, Justice J R Kotwal, Justice Sanjeev Kumar and Justice Sanjay Kumar were also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Justice Sindhu Sharma lauded the role of legal fraternity of J&K as also the role played by the members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu in extending sincere cooperation to her.
“I have learned a lot from my seniors, colleagues & friends and I never hesitated from asking any law point from my colleagues during my years of practice as an Advocate”, she said, adding that she will perform the duties of her office with best of her ability, knowledge & judgment without any fear or favour, affection or ill will.
President of the Bar Association Senior Advocate B S Slathia, while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the role of Justice Sindhu Sharma as an Advocate and member of the Bar. He hoped that she will discharge her duties conscientiously as Judge of High Court as per the merit of the case and according to constitution and the law.
Sachin Gupta, Vice President, Prem Sadotra, General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma and Joint Secy also spoke on the occasion.
