Natrang stages ‘Paanch Futt Ki Shishi’

JAMMU, Dec 30: Under Natrang’s Sunday Theatre series, a hilarious new play ‘Paanch Futt Ki Shishi’- written by Krishan and directed by Neeraj Kant, was staged at the Natrang Theatre, here today.
The play showcases the condition of a ‘Husband’ who altercated with his wife on a very trivial issue. In false ego, he declares that he can do without her, which was enough reason for his wife to leave the home. But life was not easy without wife as the daily household activities consume all his energies and day-by-day his condition deteriorates. He discusses the same with his friend but does not accept the defeat owing to his male ego. But at last he surrenders with the help of his friends. He makes a plan to call his wife back and acts as if he is very sick. On hearing this, his wife returns immediately repenting that why did she leave him alone and pledges to not fight with him again and take proper care of him. Finding the favorable situation, the husband reveals his plan to her and both of them agree that they could not do without one another.
Mohd Yaseen as ‘Husband’, Rohit Verma as ‘Friend’, Shakshi Parkash as ‘Wife’ and Uplaksh Singh Kotwal as ‘Doctor’- all young actors of Natrang mesmerized the audience with their acting skills. Anil Tickoo designed the lights and sets of the play. Ashwani Bali operated the music. Sumeet Sharma coordinated the show and Sajra Qadir presented the show before the audience.
