SAMBA, Sept 7 : A 26-year-old youth in his village Daulat Chak, under the sub-district of Vijaypur, tried to commit suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence. The youth was identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Chaman Lal, resident of Daulat Chak.
According to police, Rakesh Kumar was alone in his house and he swallowed some poisonous substances in loneliness. After a while, when the family returned home, he found Rakesh in an unconscious condition. The family immediately took Rakesh to the hospital in Vijaypur. In view of the delicate condition of the youth in Vijaypur hospital, the doctors referred him to the Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu, after giving primary treatment. The family said that everything was going well and they don’t know why he took such an extreme step? In this regard, the police has registered the case and started further action.
