RAMBAN, Jan 1: Police today arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued four milch animals from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Chanderkote Police Station laid a naka and intercepted one Srinagar bound Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AE-0127.
During checking, police recovered four bovine animals and arrested driver identified as Nazir Ahmed, son of Abdul Gani of Seri, Ramban.
A case under FIR number 1/13 under Section 188 RPC, 3 PC Act was registered at Police Station Chanderkote and investigation started.
