JAMMU, Jan 1: Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust & Roshan Educational Society today gave scholarships worth Rs 3,15,920 to the students of Jammu Division during its 10 day long camp held at Bee Enn Complex, Talab Tillo here.
Total 400 students mostly girls from rural, backward and border areas of Jammu division received the scholarships. The evaluation tests were also held to assess their academic progress. The Trust also arranged doctors for the medical checkup of students. Counselors invited from Department of Psychology (Jammu University) to interact with students as well as their parents.
The Managing Trustee informed that the Trust has spent over Rs 72 lakh on support for children’s education over last 15 years.
