JAMMU, Sept 26: Adbi Kunj organized a special tributes meet on the 2nd death anniversary of renowned writer Rewati Saran Sharma, here today.
A large number of writers, poets, literary lovers participated in the meet.
The meet was presided over by Chairman of the Adbi Kunj Aarash Dalmotra.
Paying their tributes, President of Adbi Kunj Sham Talib, Chairman Aarash Om Dalmotra and other speakers threw detailed light on the shining literary personality of Rewti Saran Sharma.
They also highlighted the various aspects of his drama writings.
In the creative literary session, various poets presented their write-ups which includes ‘Do-Behno-Ka-Bachao’ (Hindi) by Aarash Dalmotra, ‘Beti-Bachao-Beti-Padao’ (Gojri) by M. Sarwar Chouhan Habeeb, ‘AB-TO-JAGO’ (Hindi) by Maharaj Krishan and a Urdu satirical write up “Ghalib-Se-Moulaqat” by Sham Talib.
In the special session of the meet, the chairman Aarash Dalmotra and other participants of the meet congratulated Sham Talib, president of Adbi Kunj on being felicitated by J&K Channel with the honour of ‘Duggar Ratan’ Award.
The vote of thanks was presented by Mr Dalmotra.
