SRINAGAR, Jan 15: A person was injured in a road accident in the Anantnag district.
Reports said that Mohammad Rajab Dar, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Anchidoora, Anantnag fell from the roof-top of a parked Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK03/1698 at General Bus Stand Anantnag while mounting luggage on the vehicle and sustained injuries. He was shifted to SKIMS-Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, conductor of a Trawler bearing registration number JK02AP/1612 Rathan Singh Gadi, son of Mula Singh resident of Shakti Nagar died in suspicious circumstances in the Trawler near National Highway Levdoora, Qazigund in Kulgam district when the Trawler was moving from Srinagar to Jammu. The body has been taken into custody for legal formalities. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC in this regard.
