JAMMU, Oct 24: State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh held a meeting regarding celebration of Vilay Diwas (Accession Day) of J&K with the rest of India which is an important day in the history of the country.
Dr. Narinder Singh, while addressing the meeting, focused on the importance of the day and asked all the leaders to celebrate the day with full pomp and show. He said the ‘Vilay Diwas’ marks the unification of our motherland and it must be observed as a festival in the whole of the State.
Dr. Narinder Singh, threadbare discussed the points related to the holding of grand function on October 26 and asked the leaders to chalk out the strategy to celebrate it among the masses in a befitting way so that those challenging the accession will get a strong jolt and their voice is silenced once for all.
He stressed that the programme must give an enlightened message of true love for nation to all. Duties were also distributed among the various leaders regarding the event.
