JAMMU, Oct 25: Drubbing Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua convincingly in the summit clash, Govt College for Women (GCW) Parade lifted the Inter-Collegiate Judo Championship (W) 2018-19 at Gymnasium Hall of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
GCW Parade Jammu secured 29 points and was declared as the overall winner of the Championship.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education was the chief guest on the occasion and interacted with the players of different colleges and distributed the medals and trophies among the winners and runners-up teams.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Suman Sharma, PTI, Parade, Gautam Sharma, PTI, GDC, Khour, Jai Bharat, Vikas Karlopia and Ravish Vaid.
44 Kgs, Reena Jasrotia-GDC, Kathua-1st; Ritu Bala-GWC, Parade – 2nd and Manisha Devi-GDC Khour- 3rd.
In 48 Kgs, Roshni Rajput-GCW Parade-1st; PalvI Jasrotia- GDC Kathua-2nd and Anamika Bhan-GDC, Khour-3rd.
In 52 Kgs, Manisha Kumari-GCW, Parade-1st, Smily Sharma-GDC, Kathua-2nd and Kajal Manhas-GDC, Khour- 3rd.
In 57 Kgs, Nandini Sharma-GCW, Parade-1st, Smile Jasrotia-GDC, Kathua-2nd and Ruhi Rajput-GDC Khour-3rd.
