Avinash Rai Khanna, expressed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family and said that the loss of two lives is an irreparable and no one can bring back the souls. Only their memories will now be a mean to live without them. On coming to know that none from the administration has visited the bereaved family, Khanna took up the matter with the Governor on phone and only then senior officials of police and civil administration reached the house.
He termed such an approach of these officials as very unfortunate and also a serious lapse too on the part of responsible administration. He asked the authorities to strengthen the security of the family and also to the local leaders of the party.
Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that in the killings of Anil Parihar and his brother, the party has lost a voice which always stood for strengthening nationalist forces in Kishtwar. He said that the sacrifice of these two brothers will not go in vain and will further strengthen the roots of nationalism in the region. He termed this as a war of ideology and said that no mercy should be shown to the culprits.
The responsibility must be fixed and the terrorists responsible for the dreaded act be nabbed at the earliest, he stressed.
The local leaders of Kishtwar district also accompanied these visiting leaders.
