DG BSF inaugurates new complex at Paloura Headquarters

JAMMU, Jan 21: The visiting Director General, Border Security Force (BSF), Subhash Joshi today inaugurated the new Administrative Block of the Frontier Headquarters of the force at Paloura here today.
Earlier, on his arrival here after taking over the charge, the new DG was briefed by IG BSF, Frontier Headquarters Jammu Rajeev Krishna about latest operational scenario and over all situation along the border. The DG paid visit to some forward posts in Chicken Neck area. He also interacted with the jawans.
The DG inaugurated the newly constructed Administrative Block of the Frontier Headquarters here in presence of other senior officers. Later, he also addressed Sainik Sammellan at Paloura campus which was attended by all ranks of the BSF Frontier. He appreciated the efforts made by the Jammu Frontier by bringing peace and tranquility on the Jammu border. The DG also gave patient hearing to the grievances of the jawans and resolved their genuine problems.
Sudha Joshi, president BWWA who accompanied the DG during visit supervised several welfare activities for the families of the force personnel. A cultural programme was also presented at Family Welfare Centre Paloura in her honour. It was maiden visit of the DG after assuming charge recently.
