JAMMU, Jan 21: All Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Society, Haridwar elected its new office bearers with Kundan Kashmiri as its president.
Omesh Raina (Omlaj) was elected as vice president and Sheela Koul was elected as publicity secretary.
Hira Lal Chatta, A N Bhat and Chaman Lal Bhat will continue as general secretary, cashier and organizing secretary respectively. The meeting was informed that the Committee has started the construction of two new rooms and necessary repairs and renovation of the complex.
It may be recalled that the election to the Society had become due after the demise of veteran KP leader A N Vaishnavi last year who was working as the president of the Society.
