SRINAGAR, Nov 22: J&K Under-19 Junior Football Team has been selected to participate in the BC Roy Trophy National Football Championship to be held at Cuttack, Odisha from November 30 to December 9.
The Team was screened by the Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council under the supervision of Divisional Sports Officer Nuzhat Ara and assisted by Nusrat Ghazala Sports Officer Central.
The team comprises 20 players. Abdul Majeed Kakroo is the Coach of the Team and Mohammad Haneef of J&K Bank is the Assistant Coach.
The J&K Team has to play against tier-I teams– Punjab, Goa and SAI.
