JAMMU, Nov 24: The third day of the Stag 40th J&K State Table Tennis Championship witnessed nail biting finishes where players gave their best to proceed ahead as this tournament also serves as the selection tournament for the upcoming national championships.
In Sub Junior Boys Round 2, Maanay beat Rakshan by 3-0, Harman beat Keshav by 3-1, Agrim beat Daksh by 3-2, Madhav beat Akshit by 3-1, Sahib beat Vishav by 3-2, Divyansh beat Arya by 3-1 and Sourav beat Rohan by 3-1.
In Men Singles Round 1, Rajan beat Anuj by 3-1, Kunal beat Manik by 3-0, Hanumat beat Haroon by 3-0, Sanpreet beat Sourav by 3-1 and Sandeep beat Hardik by 3-0.
In Youth Boys Round 1, Ansh beat Manik by 3-1, Maanay beat Vedish, Madhav beat Aarit by 3-0, Akshit beat Adhyan by 3-0, Ketan beat Aryan by 3-0, Asad beat Ashray by 3-0 and Hanumat beat Rakshan by 3-0.
Among others present were Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, Haji Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, IP Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Er Saleem Bandey Secretary Poonch District TT Association, Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Narinder Singh, Sheetal Gandotra, Sanjeev Gupta and Vikas Magotra.
