Iknoor creates history by winning triple crowns

JAMMU, Nov 26: Stag 40th J&K State Table Tennis Championship concluded here today.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Devinder Rana, Provincial President National Conference, who witnessed the final matches and distributed the prizes amongst the winners.
In his speech, Rana assured every possible help in conducting future tournaments through which players can have more exposure which will eventually help them to perform in the National level events as well.
Israr Khan, Retd DIG was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Top ranked players in this tournament will represent J&K in the upcoming National Championship in the months of December and January.
In Cadet boys final, Lakshay beat Archit 3-1, whereas in girls category, Hargun Kour beat Ragini Gupta 3-2.
In Sub Junior boys final, Maanay beat Saksham 3-0, whereas in girls category, Iknoor defeated Ragini 3-2.
In Junior boys final, Hanumat defeated Saksham 3-2, whereas in girls category, Iknoor trounced Suhani 3-0.
In Youth boys final, Ritvik beat Asad 3-0.
In Men Singles final, Ritvik beat Manandeep 3-0, whereas in Women Singles, Iknoor outplayed Surbhi 3-2.
In Veteran Singles, IP Singh beat Dr Prabhjot 3-2, whereas in Men Doubles, Vasu Dewan and Sandeep Khadotra defeated IP Singh and Gurvinder 3-1.
Among others present were Ravi Singh Divisional Sports officer, Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, Riyaz Ahmed, Haji Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, I.P Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Er Saleem Bandey Secretary Poonch District TT Association, Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Narinder Singh, Sheetal Gandotra, Sanjeev Gupta, Suresh Sharma (SAI Coach) and Vikas Magotra.
The matches were officiated by Vasu Dewan, Satish Gupta Manager Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium Jammu, Sandeep Khadotra NIS Table Tennis coach, Meenu Rajesh and Asad Sharma.
